Submissions

All submissions should be postmarked between August 15th and March 15th and contain a brief cover letter that includes contact information (name, address, phone number, email). We do not read submissions outside the postmark deadlines. Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope for our response.  Manuscripts or other materials will not be returned. Payment for publication is two copies of The Pinch issue in which your work appears.

Fiction:
Manuscripts should be typed and double-spaced.  Manuscripts should be no more than about 5,000 words. We do not accept email manuscripts.  Address to FICTION EDITOR.

Creative Nonfiction:
Manuscripts should be typed and double-spaced.  Manuscripts should be no more than about 5,000 words. We do not accept email manuscripts.  Address to CREATIVE NONFICTION EDITOR.

Poetry:
A maximum of 5 poems may be submitted.  Poems should be typed.  We do not accept poems by email.  Address to POETRY EDITOR.

Art & Photography:
In order to expedite the submission process, we request that art & photography are submitted electronically. Attach each image as a jpeg and email to:
art@thepinchjournal.com
Each image should not exceed 72 dpi.
If accepted, we will request 300 dpi tiff files.
